I'm toying with the idea of chronicling the efforts and results of Region 4's Drinking Water Information Management Team in a blog format. Writing stuffy briefings and constantly updating status in a weekly report of unknown importance levels isn't fun. Being able to direct our customers to this blog to make comments on our updates seems to be fun and we can always cut and paste our updates in official formats should they be elevated into the required briefings.
This way we can share what's going on in our various responsibility areas, whether it's SDWIS/FED, the Data Warehouse Redesign, SDWIS/STATE, NextGen UAG, UIC, ARCS or any of the other crazy stuff we're confronted with. Let's mess around with this and see what happens. I've made this un-searchable so we're in the public domain but then again, our work is too!
I'm interested in what you have in the way of comments and if we can trial this.
